You will be picked up from your lodge by our experienced guide followed by a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park after briefing. Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds, has a lot to offer in terms of wildlife safaris. The park is noted for its baobab trees, known as "trees of life," which dot the landscape and add to Tarangire's splendor. The Tarangire River, the park's main source of water, attracts hundreds of species, especially during the dry season.
When you arrive in Tarangire, you'll go on a game drive in search of species such as lesser kudu, buffalo, eland, giraffe, and zebra. Following a short game drive, you will enjoy lunch in one of the park's picnic areas. After that, you'll continue on an afternoon game drive to search for more wildlife and park attractions. After game drive, you will drive to the Lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
Today should be a nice day because you'll be visiting one of the world's natural wonders. The day begins with breakfast then drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is a self-sustaining ecosystem and one of the few spots in Africa where you may see all five of Africa's Big Five in a single day. When you reach the crater floor, you will be treated to some of Mother Nature's most beautiful scenery.
While seeing the big five is a game of chance, if you're lucky, Ngorongoro crater will reward you with the opportunity to view all five in one day, including African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, and lions, as well as various bird species. Following a picnic lunch in the crater, you will continue on an afternoon game drive to see more wildlife and other attractions. After a day filled of beautiful experiences, you will ascend and drive to the Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we'll head to Lake Manyara for an exciting wildlife adventure with a packed lunch. Keep an eye out for lions that love climbing trees and playful baboons that will be your travel companions inside the park. When we're done with the safari, we'll take you back to the lodge for some relaxation, a delicious dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay. It's a day of wildlife wonders and relaxation.
Lake Manyara National Park is a gem known for its stunning lake, where you can spot flamingos, and its lush forests where tree-climbing lions and playful baboons reside. It's a unique safari destination with diverse wildlife and breathtaking scenery.
Day 4: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Activities / Drive to Arusha
After breakfast, make a short drive to Mto wa Mbu, a rapidly growing tourist destination. Tanzania has over 120 tribes, and Mto wa Mbu is home to several of them. You will walk through rice and banana farms, have the opportunity to see how local beer is made in the local factories, and taste Tanzanian local beer. You will also go to neighborhood homes and observe how people go about their daily lives.
You will have a local lunch in the afternoon, with the option to experience African local dishes. After experiencing a day in the life of a Tanzanian, you will journey to Arusha. You will be escorted to the airport for your return trip, depending on your departure flight.
