Plan a safari with Ozon Light Tours to witness how hundreds of wildebeest cross the Mara River, which is teeming with angry crocodiles.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania Northern Circuit! Welcome to Arusha “Geneva of Africa”
Your safari adventure begins in Arusha, Tanzania, on the Northern Circuit Safari getaway. When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by an Ozon Light Tours Safari guide. You will board a vehicle and drive to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay. You will check into the accommodation in time for a shower and an African meal. After dinner, you will retire to your room for some rest and relaxation, giving you the opportunity to discover how incredible it is to spend a night in Africa.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will meet you at the lodge for a briefing, followed by a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is an ideal place for wildlife viewing on Tanzania's northern circuit. Tarangire National Park should be on your bucket list if you want to see wildlife. Large herds of elephant are abundant in Tarangire.
Hundreds of animals gather on the Tarangire River's banks to drink water. This is a great location for breathtaking game drives, particularly during the dry season, which runs from mid-June to October. Tarangire's magnificent scenery is filled with ancient baobab trees. After game drive you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour. Ngorongoro Crater, also known as Eden's Garden, is an iconic site for game drives, and if you're looking for the Big Five, this is the place to be. When you reach the crater rim, you will begin the crater tour. You will see magnificent landscapes formed millions of years ago as a result of volcanic eruptions as you descend. The crater is a self-sustaining system in which animals coexist and do not need to go long distances in search of food.
You will have picnic lunch near hippo pool, an opportunity to enjoy your meal on the crater floor. After lunch you will embark on afternoon game drive, searching for more wildlife and birds of Ngorongoro crater.
After game drive you will make an ascent and drive to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti Central
Today you will go on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. If you want to make the most of your safari experience, you may go on an optional balloon ride early in the morning before your regular game drive, giving you an up-close view of the animals.
After breakfast, you will go on a full-day wildlife drive in the Serengeti's "Seronera" region. The central Serengeti is famous for excellent game drives, and if you're lucky, you might glimpse big cats within a few hours of your game drive.
You will have lunch at one of the Serengeti's picnic locations while admiring vast grasslands of the Serengeti. You will go on an afternoon game drive to look at extra wildlife and other sights in the park.
After game drive you will drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Game en Route to Serengeti North
Breakfast is served early in the morning, followed by a trip to Serengeti North. You'll arrive at the airstrip and get some time for some game on your way to the lodge for a hearty lunch. After lunch, you will have some time to unwind before embarking on an afternoon game drive.
You will drive along the Mara River's riverbanks in search of a wildebeest crossing occurrence. Because of the presence of hundreds of ungulates, predators are likely to be nearby seeking for ungulates, and if you're lucky, you might see predator prey actions while on a game drive.
After game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Serengeti North / Following Great Migration
Today you will have the opportunity to spend the entire day watching the enormous wildebeest migration and witnessing the Mara River crossing. Wildebeest cross the Mara River all the way to Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve for mating season. Other species, like as zebra, impala, and gazelle, accompany the wildebeest on their long journey.
After breakfast, you'll go on a full-day game drive along the Mara River. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see the Mara River crossing event, in which hundreds of wildebeest cross the river with very hungry crocodiles on their route to Maasai Mara for mating season. In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive to look for more wildlife.
After game drive you will drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Serengeti to Arusha
Today is the last day of your safari in Tanzania's northern; we hope you had a fantastic time. Breakfast will be served at the camp, followed by a game en route to Arusha.
